Brief & Product description
As a group we are going to be producing a video commercial for a originally designed product. The product is a Frankie Lloyds inspired tabled which has been made for a contempoary hairdressers salon. The creator Steven Mclean has successfully created and manufactured this table with the help and the support of The Beacon Schools Technology department. We are going to be creating a commercial advertising the table. We then as group asked the creator of the
product how he would describe it.
'The table has been created for a
contempoary hairdresser to overcome the problem of storing different sized
magazine. It helps store magazines in different ways to make them neat and tidy.
The drawer has been created to hold newspapers. The table is very easy to clean
due to the smooth surface. The whole table design has been inspired by Frank
Lloyds hill house where he made linear boxes protruding off a cliff
face.'
As a group we nominated one
person to and photograph the two products, which was my task. After we all
looked over the two photographs we chose the Table/Draws. I have showed two
pictures of our selected product here. We chose the product as it appealed more
to us than the other.
